What We Offer
Co-Founders Chelsey Kolenda and Olivia Etey run Beyond the Stage out of the Cloverdale United Church in Surrey. Bi-annually, Beyond the Stage offers its Play Performance Program, where chilren, ages 8-16 are cast in a full-production of a beloved children’s classic. We also offer monthly hour long drop-in classes of Theatre Games, Improv, and Musical Theatre training for kids.

Play Performance Program
In 13 weeks, director, Chelsey Kolenda and Stage Manager, Olivia Etey will lead your youth from rehearsal to a full-production of Wizard of Oz with costumes, make-up and lighting.
May 14th-Aug 9th, 2025 at 6:30-8:15pm (Every Wednesday)
2 Show Date: Aug 9th, 2025 at 2pm & 7pm
Saturday Rehearsals: July 19th, July 26th & Aug 2nd at 12-4pm

Twice a month, Beyond the Stage offers $20 drop-in classes to teach children (ages 8-16) the fundamentals of theatre. Payable at the door. We are excited to see you there!

Play Performance Program
In 13 weeks, children and youth, ages 8 to 16, will work towards a full-production of Wizard of Oz. The program runs from May 14th until August 9th, out of the Cloverdale United Church in Surrey. The program includes regular Wednesday night rehearsals, three Saturday rehearsals, professional makeup, and costumes. We are now registering.
Drop-In Classes
Twice a month, Beyond the Stage offers $20 drop-in classes to teach youth (ages 8-16) the fundamentals of theatre. Payable at the door. We are excited to see you there! Classes occur at the Upper Hall at the Cloverdale United Church.
